- Saint-Rémy de Provence: this little jewel nestled in the hills of Provence is 19 minutes from the Avignon Parc campsite. The birthplace of Nostradamus is one of the region’s must-see stops. It boasts some lovely art galleries and boutiques.
- Eygalières : to the north of the massif, this charming little village is famous for its rocky outcrop where a statue of the Blessed Virgin stands. It’s 31 minutes from the Avignon Parc campsite.
- Les Baux de Provence: this is one of France’s “most beautiful villages” and is 42 minutes from the Avignon Parc campsite. Stroll through the charming village and its pretty little cobbled streets, with a magnificent panorama from the top of its rocky spur. Discover its famous castle on a majestic site with a breathtaking view of the Alpilles. Guided tours and audio guides await you for a trip back in time to medieval times. Other historic buildings are also waiting to be discovered. The Musée des Santons is a good example.

- The Glanum site in Saint-Rémy de Provence, with its exceptional Greek and Roman archaeological remains.
- The Calès caves in Lamanon : 116 troglodyte caves that once sheltered the cirque’s inhabitants.
